Brunette to Ombre!

Hello everyone!

How are we all!? Sorry my blog posts haven't been that frequent, I haven't been feeling all too inspired lately. Also my laptop has decided to break and is at Apple getting fixed, I may have lost all my photo's and everything on my laptop *crying*. Until I get it back I am on my mum's computer haha...

Anyway, today I thought I'd talk about my hair, since I went to the hairdressers the other day and died the ends blonde. And I REALLY like it, so I thought I'd share it with you.

I really thought it was time for a little change, I was bored of my appearance and since finishing school I have a whole new chapter of life ahead of me. This felt necessary.

Here is the BEFORE photo, as you can see my hair was slightly lighter at the ends as I had a few golden streaks through it.

And here it is now! A whole lot blonder at the ends, it's also quite a bit shorter since after bleaching the ends kind of died.

I really have to take care of my hair because the whole process of getting it lighter included a lot of bleach and my hair doesn't exactly love that. I have been using Nak Aroma oil before straightening and to keep my hair healthy. I have Schwarzkopf Hair Repair leave in treatment to heal the ends and keep it looking shiny and feeling smooth.

My hair dresser recommended Keune Silver Reflex Shampoo to help keep my hair from going yucky orange over time. This helps neutralize yellow and refreshes grey (as it says on the back). The conditioner I use to fight split ends is Keune Care Line Treatment. This is treatment for damaged hair.

Using all these products and taking the time to take care of my hair is really helping and to be honest, it doesn't look too damaged.

As for the process, it took about 3 hours. I had to leave the colour in for almost fourty minutes and then my hairdresser (Nicki, Klawz in Nerang) washed, toned, blow dried and curled my hair to perfection. I was extremely happy with the end result, except during the process I can say I was worried I wouldn't like it.

I have had quite a few compliments from friends so I hope you like it too! If there's something you'd like to do, whether it be a change in appearance or doing something you're too scared to do, remember that life's too short and if you don't change you won't grow as a person and you'll regret being too scared in the future!

Thanks for reading everyone, leave me comments on something you've changed in your life recently, whether it be a minor or major change :)

Mia
